Size Reinforced plastic tarpaulin in 4m x 5m sheet or 4m x 50m roll
Material Made of woven high density black polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. warp x weft 12/14 per square inch, laminated on both sides with low density polyethylene (LDPE) coating. With Reinforced rims by heat sealing on all sides (or 2 sides heat sealing and 2 sides double stitching), and nylon ropes in hem, with aluminium eyelets on 4 sides every 100 cm (±5 cm) Centre to Centre.

Tensile strength Min 600N both directions warp and weft (BS 2576, 50mm grab test or equivalent)
Tear strength Min 100N both directions (BS 4303 wing tear or equivalent)

Size Reinforced plastic tarpaulin in 4m x 6m sheet or 4m x 60m roll
Material Woven high-density polyethylene (HDPE) black fibers fabric, fabric laminated on both sides with white low density polyethylene (LDPE) coating, reinforced with 6 bands of 75 mm width woven black HDPE fibers fabric and coated with grey LDPE on the outside. Pre-punched 8mm holes on the 2 side bands at 0.1m +/-10% intervals, positioned in the Centre of the bands (only the reinforcement bands are pre-punched, not the tarpaulin itself).
Weight 190 ± 20g under ISO 3801 (equivalent to min 170 to 210 gsm max)
Tensile strength Min 500N, 15-25% elongation in warp and weft in plain sheet under ISO 1421-1
Reinforcement bands Min 700N as per ISO 1421-1, pulling lengthwise in a pre-punched 8mm hole with a hook of 8 mm wire diameter, at 200mm from the end of the band. UV resistance 80% of original value and not less than 665N.
Tear strength Min 100N under ISO 1421outside of the Reinforcement Bands.
UV resistance After 1500 hours UV under ASTM G53/94 (UVB 313 nm peak) minimum 80% of original value of the actual product and not less than 475N
